Introduction and Objective: National CEDER offers free services to researchers and community groups on community-engaged type 2 diabetes (T2D) programming and research. We assess client satisfaction with CEDER services and early indicators of change of capacity following the first year of services (9/2024-8/2025).Methods: Clients received REDCap survey links via email. Post-service surveys were sent immediately following the final service to assess satisfaction with services, logistics (e.g., scheduling), quality of expert feedback, and recommendations for improvement. Six-month follow-up surveys further assessed support received, project refinement, and dissemination milestones. Results: Five community and 30 research clients were included; 12 completed post-service and 6-month surveys, 12 completed post-service only, and 13 completed 6-month follow-up only. The response rate was 79%. Clients completing the post-service survey (n=22) valued their experience with service triage, logistics (scheduling, format, time allotted, orientation), and feedback from expert(s); most were very or extremely likely to seek future services (91%) or refer colleagues (100%). Post-service recommendations were related to service preparation, minor modifications, and requests to follow up and share feedback with clients. Among clients completing the 6-month survey (n=23), 91% agreed or completely agreed that they received needed help; 52% strengthened community engagement strategies and 52% expanded professional connections. Client dissemination milestones included submissions: 7 grant proposals, 4 manuscripts, and 7 conference abstracts, as well as 4 community presentations. Conclusion: Positive outcomes in the first year suggest expanded use of CEDER services could help more clients build the skills, partnerships, and ability to conduct impactful T2D programming and research, supporting more effective, equitable research and care across US communities.
